How Solo finds inaccuracies

Solo reads your article, then checks every fact against the code

Every article makes claims about how your product works. Solo checks each claim against what the code actually does, and identifies the ones that are no longer true.

01 / Extract

Pulls the facts from your article

Solo reads each article and lifts out every statement that can be fact checked.

02 / Check

Checks each fact against your product's code

Every fact is compared against your product's source of truth, the codebase.

03 / Flag

Flags every disagreement

When a fact from your help center and the code conflict, Solo lists the article, the inaccurate sentence, and what the code says now, so a writer knows exactly what to change. Solo even suggests updated text to correct your article.

FAQ

How the audit actually works.

The practical details, answered before you book.

Still have a question?

Bring it to your consultation. The team will walk you through anything that isn't covered here.

The audit is a perk offered in partnership with Support Driven, and it is only available to Support Driven members. There are only a limited amount of free audits available. They will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

You can join the community using this link, which makes you eligible.

Solo compares your codebase with your help center and reports up to 100 places where an article says something the code does not support. Each finding names the article, the statement that is wrong and suggests the text that would make the statement correct.

Solo works with Zendesk, Intercom, Confluence, Notion, Help Scout, Front, Featurebase and GitHub Docs, and it connects to code on GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. You can see the full list on our integrations page. If you use something else, mention it when you book and the team will tell you whether it can be covered.

Not without your approval. The audit is a comparison that produces a report and suggested copy. Within the report, you're able to accept suggested changes, which updates the content in your help center.

The process can typically happen within 15 minutes: a conversation with the team, connecting your codebase and help center, and then reviewing the findings. A very large help center or repository can take longer.

100 is the free limit. If you want to see more than that, you can pay for additional conflicts. Ask the team during the consultation and they will explain how that works.

The audit reports up to 100. If your help center is in good shape you will see fewer, and that is a useful result too: it tells you where you can stop worrying.

That is a reasonable thing to ask before you connect anything. Solo is SOC 2 compliant and a trusted partner of Support Driven, and our customers include Pendo, Descript and Navattic. Bring any security questions to the consultation, where the team can walk through how access is set up and what Solo does with your code before you connect a single tool.

We have launched free tools for the Support Driven community before, and the response was far bigger than we expected. We want every member who takes an audit to get our full attention, so we are pacing this one carefully to make sure we can keep up with demand. Thank you for your patience and for being part of this community. If the free audits run out, the team is still happy to talk through how Solo keeps a help center accurate.

You keep the report. If you want Solo to audit your entire help center, or continuously monitor it for future changes, the team can work with you to get that set up.
